Stone Sobieralski Announces Campaign for Pennsylvania State Representative in HD38

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 27, 2024

Whitehall, PA - Stone Sobieralski of Whitehall Borough announced today that he will be running for the 38th House District in Pennsylvania. The district includes the boroughs of Baldwin, Dravosburg, Glassport, West Mifflin, Whitehall, and Pittsburgh’s 31st Ward. Incumbent State Representative Nick Pisciottano has declined to seek re-election to the Pennsylvania State House.

Sobieralski earned his associates degree in business, finance, and accounting from Allegheny County Community College, and has since applied his skills to serve his community as councilman on the Whitehall Borough Council since 2022.

“I am proud to announce my candidacy for State Representative in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania”, said Sobieralski. “As a lifelong resident of Whitehall who has had the distinct honor of serving my community, I have come to deeply understand the needs of my constituents and those of surrounding communities. I look forward to continuing to speak with residents of the 38th District to best represent you in Harrisburg.”

Sobieralski stated his priorities are to support small businesses and job creation, ensure government transparency and fiscal responsibility, and ensure our communities remain safe by supporting law enforcement.

“Stone was instrumental in bringing transparency to our council meetings”, said Whitehall Councilman Bill Veith. “He was the first person to actually start filming our meetings. He is not afraid to propose change and bring new ideas to our borough among people who have served an average of twenty years or more. I am confident that Stone will bring that same enthusiasm about his community and commitment to transparency to Harrisburg.”
